Eight years after Florist’s sudden departure from Kosovo, Andi finally has the chance to visit his brother in the Netherlands. He dreams of a joyful reunion filled with adventures and sightseeing. However, Florist, tied to his work in the Dutch flower greenhouses, has little free time during Andi’s visit. They will spend their days together in the bleak landscapes of Westland, circumstances where their strong bond can probably shine at its best, just like in Kosovo, dreaming together of a better future elsewhere. The days are filled with joints, childish games, quarrels and a few difficult conversations. Yet, an intangible distance hovers between them – out of mutual respect or simply because their roles cannot be broken? To what extent can one save a brother and how to let go when the farewell becomes inevitable?
